[ Jail term over~! ]
Saturday, 29 September 2007( 10:58 pm )

cool, i have finished my service in the jail for 6hours! lol.. well, today nypco went into changi prison for performance..

it seems the prison has a new face lift.. they have new and advance campus like prison.. the checking in of instruments was rather problematic.. we are not suppose to bring anything into the prison and anything that is essential for performance must be accounted when going into and exiting the prison.. in short, it is very MA FAN.. we actually wasted about 30mins for checking into the prison.. aiyo..

after checking in, we kinda have to walk for some distance into the auditorium where we will be performing for 40 - 50++ inmates who is assigned into the arts school.. after finished setting up, we went for lunch.. the mee hoon was delicious.. i was told that it was cooked by the inmates who taken fine dining course..

after that, its time for performing! well, the band inmates presented 2 songs.. it sounds nice but i find it abit retro.. hoho.. once they are done, its our turn to perform.. after we are done, everyone's emotions got high to the climax as a team of inmate singers will be presenting pop songs.. one would be the wang li hong's song sang by a malay inmate! cool... everyone got sooo high..

well, one of the prison warden told us that this population is just 1% of th overall changi prison population.. kinda of surprise.. it because we saw more construction of new prison near the new "campus"..

nevertheless:

honor and respect the stage...
these words will always be remembered..
